 Bodybuilding as art?

COLT WYNN

My name is Colt Wynn I am 15 years old.
Last year I was paralyzed in a hunting accident.
When I was in the Hospital I had lost 38 pounds.
I knew that I had to start lifting harder and more consistent than I ever had
before. I knew it would make life a lot easier in a wheelchair.
I was lifting weights while I still had a broken Back.
Now its been about year since my accident.
My arms grew from 11" to 15 1/2" .
I have put on 25 pounds of muscle to my upper body.
I am 6 foot 1 140 lbs.

02.16.05 Check out Musicians who happen 2 b disabled; the healing power of music - music as art.
We will be re-doing this page creating an art form specifically related to spinal cord injured folks who are using their body's and mind's to bring forth some form or another of what can be viewed as art? Any ideas? Link

"Winter comes and I get desperate. This artist does everything in his power to avoid that horrendous moment of truth when he has to sit down and actually make art...compose... orchestrate the semantics of thought and place himself face-down into a state of creative pubescence." -Russell J. Sether, 11/1/98

"Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it."  Robert Motherwell
